Former L.I.F.E Bible College President, Dr. Dick Scott, With the Lord

Dr. Dick Scott, D.D., the seventh president of 17�Թ� (then L.I.F.E. Bible College), entered his eternal reward on October 18, 2022. An alumnus of L.I.F.E Bible College (Class of 1958), Dr. Scott served in various roles across the years – at summer camps, language schools, and living as an international missionary.

Global Vision Week 22-23

17�Թ�’s Global Life Department hosted its annual Global Vision Week. Throughout the week, there were global leaders speaking in chapel and in classes, a student panel sharing their experience on past Global Life trips, as well as a Global Impact Fair where students could connect with global ministry organizations.

LPU Global Life Mission Trips Announced

The 17�Թ� Global Life Department announces the Missions Trips offered in 2023. Included in the Global Life trip line-up are two spring break trips to Cuba and El Salvador, as well as three summer trips to Israel, Romania, and a Native American Cultural Immersion Trip. All Global Life mission trips are being covered in prayer for safety, financial provision, and spiritual breakthrough.

Celebrate During LPU’s Centennial Events 22-23

In 2023, 17�Թ� will celebrate its Centennial Year. After 100 years as an institution begun by Sister Aimee Semple Mcpherson in 1923 in Echo Park, California, 17�Թ� is honoring its heritage.
